An Important update to our delivery times.

The Farmer's WifeAugust 22, 2021

Firstly we would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding over the past few weeks. Lockdown times are always a bit frazzling for us, and it takes time to get into the high paced rhythm again.

Now it appears Lockdown is with us for a bit longer, it is time to bite the bullet and bring in some professional help. Along with all the work required at the farm planting, picking, packing, and sorting, there are a million other chores before your box of fresh goodness arrives on your doorstep. In the past few weeks we’ve been also buzzing off in all directions with deliveries and realise that needs to stop…if you know the term ‘spreading yourself too thin’ then you know how we are a bit worn out.

Last week we trialled an on-demand delivery company that offers live tracking, along with the ability to deliver to all of our usual areas. This company also gives us the ability to easily expand runs as required.

Deliveries went well this week and we’ll keep on with them for the foreseeable future. There is only one downside…our delivery costs will have to rise to cover the additional expenses. Some out of area places will also incur an extra surcharge as we are charged an additional levy to reach these areas. We are in the process of finalising details and the website will reflect these changes, probably by the end of the week.

TOP TIP
Get your orders in early as we’re still working with old rates!
