Join us for our first Community Cook-Along!
On Tuesday 13 April we'll have our first ever Community Cook-Along at the farm!
Now you may wonder what the heck that is, so let's go over the details…
If you are keen to help local Community Street Kitchens, but don't really know how to get involved then this is your opportunity. We'll be baking, cooking and making delicious foods to supply to the AOK Community Outreach Street Kitchen (Instagram @AOKcommunityOutreach) that is held every Wednesday evening in Woolloomooloo.
As we are prepping a day ahead we'll be creating packs of food that can be consumed cold such as salads, cold meats, sandwiches, wraps, cookies and scones etc. With many mouths to feed we'd love your helping hands.
We'll have at least three Thermomix's on site to make chopping, cooking and mixing a breeze, so this will also be a great opportunity to find out more about this amazing piece of kitchen equipment.
Field to Feast will be donating the fruit and veg for the day, and we're also looking to our suppliers to donate their produce as well. Nisbets have already donated 500 takeaway containers for the day - it would be awesome if we could make a dent in this stash!
When: Tuesday 13 April from 12 noon
Where: Field to Feast Farm, 299b Deepfields Rd, Catherine Field
RSVP: Email firstname.lastname@example.org to register your interest
A light lunch will be supplied along with coffee, tea and filtered water.
Thank you to these generous companies for their support!
As donations roll in I'll update the list of thanks below:
